another ripple

I can hear the blog world rolling it’s collective eyes as I type my first post. Another Mommy blogger. How original. I’m ok with being another ripple in a very large pond. Afterall, this blog is just between me and me…

My name is Rachel. I am 30ish, married for 10 years to T., Mom to N. age 4 and G. age 2. I’m a card carrying Suburbanite complete with two puffy vests, a minivan, a hypoallergenic dog and a life full of crumbs and plastic. There isn’t anything all that unusual or outstanding about my life. To be honest, it’s a good one that I really like most of the time. I have really been struggling with depression over the last year (and probably a lot longer). I’m hoping that doing a little writing will help organize my mind, give me some perspective and help me appreciate my life when I feel like I’m drowning in it.

I guess this blog is really more of a journal. A place to share my thoughts and vent. Here goes nothing….
