march

March 6th, 2010

Allow me to state the obvious.

It’s MARCH.

Which means that it’s not FEBRUARY anymore.

Dreary, brown, grey, germy February.

GOOD RIDDANCE!

The sun has shone brightly everyday so far this month. The snow is melting. The eves are dripping. There are little bits of green(ish) grass peaking out. Birds have been singing on our deck. I can hear bikes and laughter in the front yard. HOPE and PROMISE fill the air.

I feel a lot more like celebrating life again. My spirit is lighter and my lips quicker to curve into a smile. I am thankful for that today (Especially since I’ve spent most of the day flat on my back in a dark, quiet room nursing a wretched migraine.).

LIGHT. It makes all the difference, doesn’t it?

… for the darkness is disappearing, and the true light is already shining (1 John 2:8).
