Friends, it has been a while. I’ve been on an inward journey. I haven’t had much to say here but now I have something to show you.
It occurred to me the other day that my baby isn’t a baby any longer. Despite my pleas to the contrary, he’s growing up. We registered him for kindergarten this week. I am going to miss having my little side kick around all the time. He’s my little buddy. My helper. He makes me laugh everyday. He makes me cry & pull my hair out sometimes too! I have cherished our days together. I know that they won’t end once he starts school but I also know that things will be different, just like they have been with the other two.
In an effort to soak in these precious months of togetherness, I am taking pictures of him everyday. Images that speak to me of our days together. Of how he is at three and a half. Of the things that make him his special little self. I want to share those images with you. An image or two each day for the month of February (even though it’s the fourth and I’m just posting them now).
Man, I love that kid.
